Hi my Lovelies, Some of you requested me to do a review of the Loreal Paris Le Rouge Lipstick that I bought in my Nykaa Sale Haul, so here I am reviewing it for you guys.

My Experience

The lipstick comes in a sturdy black bullet packaging with Loreal Paris engraved on it and translucent cap that bears a hint of the colour family the lipstick belongs to. The cap closes with a loud click sound that makes sure the lipstick is closed properly making it travel friendly.

These lipsticks come in 15 beautiful shades ranging from pinks to berries and oranges to browns. I picked up the shade 212 Rambling Rose. It is a beautiful pinkish red shade with neutral undertones. It is a beautiful neutral shade. This particular shade would suit most skin tones. It has a bit of golden frost which adds a nice dimension to the lips. This is my go to shade these days. You will often find me wearing it. It has a fruity fragrance which I like.

The texture of this lipstick is very smooth and creamy and glides on the lips like a dream. It does not settle into fine lines and has a moist matte finish on settling. It does not dry out my lips. It does feel a bit sticky but I usually dab little powder on it and I am good to go.

The pigmentation of Loreal Infallible Le Rouge Lipstick in Rambling Rose is amazing. The colour payoff is great. One swipe is sufficient to have a medium coverage while two swipes would help you achieve the perfect full coverage. It is not transfer proof which bothers me. Recently I visited restuarant along with a friend for breafast and I ended up being embarrassed. The lipstick was all over the cup of coffee. I wish Loreal did something about it.

I am very impressed with its longevity. This lipstick stays put on my lips for about 4 to 5 hours. It survived a heavy meal and a cup of coffee. After 4 hours it starts fading leaving a light stain behind.

My thoughts about Loreal Infallible Le Rouge Lipstick in Rambling Rose

Overall I am very happy with this lipstick. The range has 15 beautiful shades. It is long lasting. The texture and pigmentation is amazing. It is a beautiful neutral everyday shade. It does not settle into fine lines or bleed. I did find few negatives. I only wish it was transfer proof. It is a bit pricey. It feels sticky which means it does not 100% live upto its claims. But that’s ok since I dab little powder and it does not feel sticky.

Recommendation

I would definitely recommend it. You should atleast try one shade from this range. Ofcourse this is a perfect everyday shade and would suit most skin tones. So go for it girls…
